Sempervivum Chrysanthemums Daylily Yarrow

Some of the things that show different colors as we go into the fall season and the late bloomers that keep on going.

Photobucket
The Sempervivum turning red for the fall and winter seasons with the pink Chrysanthemums showing off their lovely blooms.

Photobucket
The burgundy Mum is a color that I just love. Since everything is cut back here it helps draw attention to itself.

Photobucket
The Yarrow is back in bloom alongside the Bluemist Shrub.

Photobucket
Stella de Oro just keeps blooming. You can see more scapes here. I will cut it down this week since I am going to be busy for a while and don't want to be out there this winter cutting back.

Gode billeder.
Ja efteråret er i gang. Stauderne visner ned. Jeg skal også snart i gang med at klippe ned, men endnu er der da nogle blomster tilbage at fryde sig over.
Tak for kigget.

How cute the Sempervivum is in the little girl planter. Your Mums are lovely too Cher. I have one yarrow that is having a few blooms since it was cut back. This is the first year it has done this. Maybe because of all of the rain?? Just have to love Stella for giving us those blooms all summer.

Hi Cher,

The blooms are so beautiful! Love the colour too! Your statuary is so sweet, at this time of year we depend more on them to add special interest!

Don't work too hard...

All the Best,
Christine

Sempervivum?! They're beautiful. A new name to me - but I'm very "green" when it comes to knowing names of plants. Mum I know and love..

Not sure why the picture of the yarrow isn't uploading for me. I'm wondering what color it is????

Hoping for our rain to stop so I can get out and get a white chry'mum planted! Good to see what's blooming there, Cher.

Oh, how pretty! The little statue is just adorable! And I love the chrysanthemums behind her. Yarrow and bluemist shrub together - what a great combination! And one I wouldn't have thought of!

The anticipation of cooler weather, makes your chrysanthemums to bloom much much prettier. Very nice colour!

I am so afraid of growing yarrow, I have been told it is really aggressive, so you think it is, Cher?
That foliage is so awesome, I wouldn't care if it did flower.
I don't know, I just don't cut anything down in the fall, I wait till spring. I can't stand to cut things back and give in to the winter!
