Gardens Hostas Japanese Maple Fireglow Peony

It's so nice when we have a sunny day here, the rain has been almost continuous. Still suppose to get plenty more this week so thought I would grab a few photos. Even though we are behind a little in growing, it's so nice to see everything coming up.
Unfortunately they make the photos too small to show for a bigger area. This is my dwarf Japanese Maple Fireglow, and a lot of my Hostas starting up along with the Pinus Sylvestris Glauca Nana on standard and a few Heuchera and a couple Mums. Really anxious to see this area maturing out this summer.

This is the Coneflowers & Daisys growing well, but not blooming yet of course. Peony and a couple of Dark Horse Weigelas on the far side and some young Mums around the edges which you can't see yet because of their small size.
I moved this Peony tree last summer and it immediately went into drought last year after I did so. It did retain some of it's leaves so I had hoped it would do ok but the old stalk did not come back but some new ones started  from the root but obviously it isn't a tree anymore. There's a few blooms on it though and at this point I'll take them.

Hi! Peonies are beautiful. Sure hope to see yours bloom. We don't have such plants here. Unlike you, at the moment, we don't really look forward to sunny days... It's almost 40 degree Celsius in the daytime these days. I would welcome some rain. Rainbows would be nice. :)

Your bed with the Japanese Maple is just so pretty.I love the dark foliage in this bed. It has been nice to a t least have some sun amongst the rain for a few days and a warmer week. Enjoy your garden.

Everything is coming along so nicely! I am particularily interested in seeing the square garden when things are blooming. It looks like it will be just chock full of colour!

Cheers.

Wish I had room for a Japanese Maple. Rain every day here, too. I happened to look out at my back yard yesterday and realized the lilacs were in bloom. I ran out between raindrops to pick a few.
